Review of The Act of Killing (2012) by The Movie W — 20 Jun 2013
What effects would a foreign filmmaker pointing cameras at a group of very deluded mass-murderers have? The film's genius is in its foresight as it persists & succeeds in unlocking brutal TRUTH, wearing the murderers down by having them play the role of their victims.
And the climax, it finally it emerges - from every orifice. Refreshingly, brutally, chained to truth.
