Review of The Accountant (2016) by Yash B — 23 May 2017
The movie ultimately ends up being very hit and miss. I think the premise is enjoyable and unique enough but I felt the movie is really slow in places. I think there are some good action scenes that make it entertaining but I felt the movie isn't as exciting as I expected.
The expository scenes take way too long without much of a reason and could have definitely been made shorter. I think Ben Affleck is really good in this movie and everyone else is fine. The story just didn't really engage me as much as I would have liked.
There's a better movie trapped in this pretty average action thriller.
