The movie jumps all over the place and doesn't really connect the dots. Affleck has autism as a child and it seems his father cures him by being mean. His loving mother jumps in a cab at one point during his childhood and leaves.
Then he becomes a super assasin and unbelievable accountant. That about sums it up.
