Review of The Accidental Husband (2008) by Maria D — 29 Aug 2009
Slightly funny and easy to watch but essentially I really didn't like the Accidental Husband. There are a few reasons:
1. I hate romcoms in which somebody falls in love already in the second scene of the movie without any kind of build-up or even a real conversation with the person they're supposed to be all moon-eyed for.
2. There was no chemistry between Uma and either of the male leads.
3. Seeing Colin Firth stress-eating isn't my idea of comedy. Needless to say, the movie only made me laugh sporadically.
