Review of The Abyss (1989) by Jared S — 06 Aug 2012
This review only pertains to the far superior Directors cut. This is science fiction at its finest. Characters are well portrayed and have depth. The special effects even by today's standards are incredible.
It is long. Though you can never have two much of a good thing. Cameron was at the top of his game when he made this. I have no flaws to speak of. Only watch the directors cut. It makes sense where the theatrical cut explains nothing.
