Review of The Abyss (1989) by Dave G — 24 Jan 2010
A husband and wife have to decide which one of them will survive and bring the other one back from the dead. For me, this is the heart and standout scene of "The Abyss," which holds up pretty well almost 20 years later as a pretty good sci-fi adventures.
The story drags a bit, but the performances and James Cameron's direction keep things interesting. Here's hoping Cameron's next film will get back to his Action/Adventure roots.
