Review of The Abyss (1989) by Nathaniel C — 08 Dec 2009

All my life I was told this film was boring, and only good for its time. Well I recently caught it on HBO, and I enjoyed it. First off yes the movie does get kind of boring some scenes go on, but this only happen with suspenseful scenes which were all great.

Another thing is the special effects are amazing. I sat here saying my god this was made in the late 80's. This movie is just epic. It has good suspenseful moment, and great acting mixed together with a great environmental message.

So in the end it has great effects and a good story, but tends to get boring.
