Review of The Abandoned (2006) by Brian C — 30 Jul 2007
Marginally ok horror movie. The acting was passable, but the plot followed no logic at all. Some creepy scenes, but horribly predictable. And the ending was trying so hard to be clever...and failed. On the plus side some guy was drinking vodka (gotta keep up the Russian stereotypes) and the ghosts had cool eyes.
I would like to have seen more Russian culture and folklore to make it more believable.
