Review of The Abandoned (2006) by Khadem Avinoor A — 25 Mar 2009
The story is a good one but technically never quite dotted all the I's and crossed all it's Ts; however the story was interesting enough for me to hang in there with and I'm glad I did. The second half of the movie is much better than the first.
Yes the special effects are kind of hoaky and the sound effects more annoying than scary but the story is indeed a good one had it been given a little more attention. One of those films you might view on the surface just as it's delivered; or psychologically in the sense our past can sometimes haunt us.
