In my opinon, the extravagance and hilarity in this movie outweigh the lack of a subtantial plot, and as such the lack of devotion to carrying through with an overtly complex allows a slick comedic sense to be inserted into the movie.
Overall a great "mans" adventure that will appeal to a specific demographic. Harshly reviewed by the critics, but nonetheless, a great film.
