A comical action movie with interesting personality's. Jessica Biel's character act's a the real world representation. This helps the other characters to shine and be interesting. I think that Neeson's performance could have been better. For some reason his character felt like Bryan Mills in the movie Taken. Quinton didn't really do well, but thanks to Cooper, Copley, Wilson and McRaney's good performances he didn't seem to off the target.
The script isn't mind blowing. Specially the quick story how Quinton and Neeson meet was dull compared to the more interesting character introductions. The movie felt like a whole. I have noticed that now days movies jump from action to actionveeery fast and at least for me, this can be confusing. Also it was nice to see a strong bad guy. Many times they just feel week compared to the main characters. But this movies bad asses felt that they could really have a fighting chance against the main characters. The mentality of the movie was fun, and that made it enjoyable.
I'm not familiar with A-team IP so this movie might feel different to someone who knows it.
This movie sited someone else than Hemingway.. wuhuuu.. just for this I made my original 3.5 stars to 4 stars. It almost seems like script writers in hollywood only know two writers: Shakespeare and Hemingway. How about trying some think else for a change?
