Review of The A-Team (2010) by Peter N — 04 Sep 2012
I have never had any interest in watching re-runs of the original TV series, and I'm not sure how purists compare this film to the original vision, but I thought it was okay. Bradley Cooper is quickly showing audiences that he is at his acting best in quirky, slightly comedic roles, and Liam Neeson brings everything to the table (as usual).
It should be noted that there is absolutely zero intelligence in this film, and the audience should be prepared in advance. The team gets involved in some clever hijinks, but there is nothing thought-provoking about their adventure.
I wasn't expecting much due to the critical backlash this film received upon release, which caused it to exceed my expectations. That doesn't mean it's a great film, but it's not that bad either.
