Review of The A-Team (2010) by Stefan G — 26 Oct 2012
I've never actually seen the TV show, but I can certainly tell this ISN'T the A-Team. The 80's TV show was livelier than this. There's too much emphasis on drama for it to be the A-Team.
The action look good, but it seems so ordinary. The characters don't feel right, especially since they're trying awfully hard to cement Quinton "Rampage" Jackson as "the new Mr.
T". I especially hate how they tried to make the A-Team relevant to the post-9/11 age. Trying to make anything from the past relevant to the post-9/11 age of paranoia is something I find sickening, and this movie just goes to show that you shouldn't tamper with the past, especially if it's a popular TV show from the 80's.
Case closed, forever.
