Review of The A-Team (2010) by Tania A — 18 Apr 2013
"Hang on, everybody! I wanna try something I saw in a cartoon once!".
An explosive, stylish, outrageous and exhilarating action thrill-ride. What we have here is a prequel which sets up the status quo as it existed in the TV series, pretty much in the same way that 2009's Star Trek movie did for the original Star Trek series.
Another remake of 1980s TV nostalgia, as the goody-goody mercenaries who never killed anyone are reincarnated for the multiplex. The casting is mouthwatering: Liam Neeson as Hannibal, Bradley Cooper as Face and the brilliant Sharlto Copely (District Nine) as Howling Mad Murdock... He should be worth the price of admission alone.
