Review of The A-Team (2010) by Joseph B — 08 Nov 2013
Simply put this movie is a sad and messy tribute to an average television show. The only enjoyment to be had here is that new actors are imitating old characters that people may fondly remember. That does not, however, mean they do a good job.
It attempts to be clever with the plot, but it trips over itself every step of the way. The main characters are somewhat likable but the adventure and action is uninteresting and not nearly as fun enough to pull off what the filmmakers were going for.
At times the special effects are surprisingly rough, but that is the least of the problems. The story is not strong and the characters are hollow shells of what people used to love. It just does not have much going for it.
