Review of The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958) by Trent C — 04 Jan 2008
Yeah, the acting is horrible, but that doesn't matter. This movie is about fun, escapism, and monsters. This is the kind of movie one would want to watch with their kids. The stop motion is top notch and it's my favorite Harryhausen film.
For 1958, this truly was breathtaking and still is now. The musical score by Bernard Herrman is one of his best. See this one!
