Review of The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958) by Jeremy R — 22 Feb 2010
The acting style and special effects show their age after 50 years; however, few films match the sheer entertainment value of this picture. Director Nathan Juran displays a knack for pacing while Ray Harryhausen's creatures and effects show why so many effects artists view him as the master.
Bernard Hermann's score is priceless as is the climactic duel with the skeleton.
