Review of The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958) by Allan C — 12 Jul 2014
Fun stop motion special effects by Ray Harryhausen highlight this kids adventure film. Sinbad is questing for, oh who cares, he fights a cyclops, saves a shrunken princess (the beautiful Kathryn Grant, who I've always liked), fights an evil magician and crosse swords with a skeleton (which Harryhausen would up the ante on with "Jason and the Argonauts" having a group of skeleton fighters).
Bernard Herrmann also provides the score which adds up to solid entertainment!
