Review of The 6th Day (2000) by James M — 19 Mar 2010
This movie feels twice as long as it is. Halfway through, I quite literally thought I was minutes from the end. It was insane. It's a pretty poorly made movie. Very.
Awkward and stupid. The action is clunky, the editing is funky and the actors are all plodding their way through it. The plot is nonsense. The concept had a lot of potential, though. It does have more than its fair share of cool ideas. I thought it must be based on a short story or novel, but it isn't, which is enough to make me go see what else the Wibberly's wrote. It was also fun to watch for familiar Vancouver landmarks and to see the Vancouver Public Library blown to bits.
