I had low expectations after watching the trailer. I thought, "Oh great! another pointless aliens taking over the world movie." However, I was wrong. The 5th wave is more than just about aliens.
It about the will to surviveand humanity It is way better than independence day movie. What the 5th Wave does is take aliens and twist it around in a realistic setting with real humanity issues. It has great action and special effects.
This movie is so realistic that it's gripping and taunting.
