Review of The 5th Wave (2016) by Glen B — 21 Aug 2016
This is by far one of the worst movies of any kind I've ever seen. Just watched it on STARZ. STARZ has been sneaking early showings of on demand movies which is very cool. But this one should have stayed in the box.
The plot is horrible. It introduces plot point conflict from the very beginning. Are the aliens, the others, humanoid just like us or are they parasites? Or do the just use parasites to control humans? If they are parasitic as suggested by character Evan, then why are the killing a 7 or more billion population of hosts? And if they only use parasites to control others yet again they have billions ready made of slaves? No sense at all.
Oh, and don't expect to see any cool scifi action. Nothing except a few scout ships flying overhead. Seen that before!! Yuck! Save yourself the time and money.
