What 5th Wave does right: Chloe as lead, the first 30 or so minutes, a couple of good twists.
What 5th Wave does wrong: Every other actor but Lieve Schreiber who is barely in it, cliche plot points, lack of effort and ingenuity on the writers part. This could've and should've been a $100 million+ action adventure with a couple more A-Listers, this tried to, and could've been more than just another YA sci-fi film, but as it, the good and bad cancel each other out.
