The 40 Year Old Virgin is a funny and daring comedy featuring Steve Carrell in his amazing breakthrough performance, along with other comedy talents as Paul Rudd and Seth Rogen. It's the story about the 40 year young virgin named Andy who lives alone in his apartment single and free with all his action figures and video games.
But one day, his colleagues invites him to a poker game where he reveals that he's a virgin, and from then they try to help pour Andy to get a number. But that's easier said than done. He has no clue of how to react nor how to make a movie.
But he's also fallen for the lady in the next door shop Trish (Catherine Keener) whom is more than just sexual attraction. The 40 Year Old Virgin is a good comedy with a lot of great characters and subplots, involving Andy's new buddies.
A lot of funny embarrassing stuff as well. Thumbs up.
