No one wants to ever end up like that guy. Steve Carrell plays Andy in this movie who is working at a electronics store and at the age of 40 still a virgin. His coworkers find this out as he compare a woman's breast to a bag of sand.

From this point on, his coworkers encourage Andy and help him in his quest to get laid. Steve Carrell was the perfect guy to cast for this part as we all remember his character from Anchorman. Andy has to go to greta lengths in his desperate attempts to have sex for the first time.

He finally finds a girl named Trish who he appears to have a reasonable chance with. But due to troubles with putting on a condom and the fact that their daughter walks in on them, he has to wait. He goes through 20 more dates without telling her that he is a virgin.

This eventually jeopardizes their relationship as he refuses to sleep with her and they break up. Shortly after, he is with a drunk bimbo who is pleasing herself with a shower hose. Slightly disgusted, he realizes that breaking things off with Trish was a bad idea.

He then decides to go back to his apartment and finds Trish there. They have another argument over some sexual things she finds in his apartment. Trish storms off and Andy is able to catch up with her on his bike where he finally professes that he is a virgin.

The movie ends with them getting married and later consummating their marriage. The movie ends in song as the glorious day has finally come where he loses his virginity. Better late than never on the poster cracks me up.

The entire premise of this movie cracks me up but at the same time makes me think how humiliating it would be to be a 40 year old virgin. Definitely a movie that always be talked about, the 40 Year-Old Virgin is a hilarious film that bases its humor on believable situations.

A star studded cast, many of whom had their breakouts for their career in this movie, add to this movies magic. This movie is possibly one of the funniest films you will ever watch.
