Steve Carrell shines bright in, The 40 Year Old Virgin, as his acting perfectly resembles what you think of a 40 year old man who hasn't had sex yet. The movie itself is also hilarious, tackling many levels of comedy such as situational to slap-stick to fart jokes.
Though charming and funny, the movie does overstay its welcome, being about 20 to 30 minutes longer than it should be. Nevertheless, the movie is still very good, and you rejoice in the end once Andy has finally scored his first time with the woman he loves.
