Review of The 40 Year Old Virgin (2005) by Jake W — 29 May 2014
A great comedy that excels on not only tons of hilarity, but a great script, strong cast performances, and a good heartfelt story about sex and love. Some side characters and uninteresting jokes from such characters should have been deleted scenes and made the remainder of the film a lot better, but it's a small stumble that won't put a damper on such a strong stride.
Carell is in his comfort zone with this role and delivers hilariously.
