Review of The 39 Steps (1935) by Jeff B — 30 May 2007
For being made in 1935 it was quite the suspensful movie. Robert Donat was a lot of fun, he had a great charm and I had a great time rooting for him. I loved the speech he gave near the end of the film, and I also liked how we're pretty much as clueless as he is throughout the whole film.
Great early Hitchcock film.
