Review of The 39 Steps (1935) by David R — 29 Jan 2008
You - "B & W movies are boring".
Me - I dare you to watch this movie and not get sucked in. Give it five minutes (okay, maybe just until the initial intrigue kicks in) and you'll be hooked. Favorite scene is when the main character stumbles into a political convention while running away from the police, is mistaken for a candidate, and makes up a speech so full of cliche and rhetoric, the crowd goes wild.
