The 300 Spartans is a retelling of the ancient Greek stand against the Persian empire. Drags on a bit and is a little cheesy, even by 1960's 'epic' standards. The film has a good story (based on the actual Battle of Thermopylae).
Recommended for fans of 'classic' epics.
