Review of The 300 Spartans (1962) by Sam B — 22 Feb 2008
My father insisted that this movie was better than Zach Snyder's 300 (which I thought was great in all its sweaty, loud and inaccurate glory), but without all the theatrics the bare plot becomes even more apparent. And according to this film the Spartans wore breastplates??? What the hell is that?
