Eastwood adds an extraordinary dimension to this movie by using the real life heroes, Stone, Stadler, and Skarlatos. Ignore the media reviews and see it. It's thought provoking ( what life experiences form heroes) and frightening as Hell at the end during the train scene because the REAL DEAL HEROES are there.
