Review of The 15:17 to Paris (2018) by Ryan F — 12 Feb 2018
This movie had good intentions & I actually didn't mind the real life guys playing themselves, but unfortunately this was a misfire for Eastwood. The last half hour of the movie that showed the actual train ride/terrorist attack was great, but the hour or so leading up to that point got pointless pretty quickly.
And I know I'm giving my personal opinion here, but other than acknowledging that they went to parochial school as kids, I think that religion should have been left out of the movie. It got a little TOO preachy in spots.
If a movie isn't made to be or advertised as a religious movie, then there shouldn't be any preaching to the audience.
