Review of The 15:17 to Paris (2018) by Wanda L — 11 Feb 2018
I barely know how to even describe this incredibly bad movie. The last 10 minutes were interesting, but the ENTIRE rest of the movie was just 3 guys bumbling through adolescence, doing badly in the military, and then traveling around Europe--interminably. Oh, yes, and the main kid had a huge supply of fake guns that they all pretended to kill each other with. Terribly uplifting.
I won't even touch the acting because I know the "actors" were the real people involved in the events, but who in the hell thought using people who are not actors and have NO acting experience to play themselves was a good idea?? Oh, yes, that must be Clint Eastwood--the man who also thought talking to a chair was a good idea. I hate to cast aspersions on someone because of his age (since I am old myself), but I think it's time Eastwood retired.
