Review of The 13th Warrior (1999) by Joe A — 08 Mar 2010
I really like this story of an Arab warrior who joins a group of Vikings to battle a horde of, what they believe are, supernatural creatures. There are some editing problems that hinder the narrative flow at times but once it gets going it's a solid and entertaining action adventure.
The final battle when the 13 warriors stand against hundreds makes any flaws forgivable and Bandaras once again proves he is one of the most underrated screen personalities around. A sadly under appreciated movie.
