Review of The 13th Warrior (1999) by Ari A — 14 Dec 2008
I thought this was an excellent film - great action and plenty of suspense. The Viking warrior parts were all well played and I was a little seized with fear with the scene where all you can see is a dark background with torches approaching the doomed village.
I'll never understand critics and how they help give films like "Wendy and Lucy" a 88% rating while films like this only get 34%. OK, so this film ain't no Casablanca, but it's still very entertaining to watch, that is if you're into non-stop action and not into sappy stories about depressing issues.
