Review of The 11th Hour (2007) by Irfan A — 01 Apr 2008
I found this a major improvement on Al Gore's slideshow - which I admit I admired, but had absolutely *zero* cinematic merit - not just for its visual and sonic qualities but more because though it's absolutely about "doing something" about global warming, it offers a far more diverse number of whys, and in fact the things that it asks of us as a race - "we have to be slower and we have to be smarter" as one interviewee puts it in a nutshell - apply whether climate change is real or not.
I don't know if I'd actively recommend it, I'm annoying enough as it is; but I certainly hope everyone on the planet gives it 90 minutes of their time.
