Review of The 11th Hour (2007) by Marie T — 29 Apr 2008
Another important documentary in the vein of Inconvenient Truth, but not as good. Al Gore only had a slide show, but the presentation made that one more interesting. DiCaprio preaches to us about the demise of our planet, and he should, because we are rapidly destroying our world.
It was weird to hear a female voice narrate all that was onscreen, but I guess that helps to give the documentary an even wider audience. And by wider I mean blind. I don't know what I can write about such a film, as there are no characters or plot, merely a series of interviews.
These documentaries go a long way towards raising the awareness of average joes, and I hope people keep making these. The oil companies might disagree though.
