Review of The 11th Hour (2007) by Garett T — 21 Jun 2008
This drudge of a film took too long to explicate the horrors of what was wrong with the earth and not enough time to describe methods to improve it. It also went back and forth between talking heads and B-roll footage, but never felt like a film; it was like viewing a student essay. Poor ending, as well.
It's not a bad film, but when so many other great docs in comparison come out these days, this one just doesn't stand a chance. Sorry, Leo.
Interesting in parts, yes, but it comes down to this: decent, but too much info and not whittled down to just the good stuff.
