Review of The 11th Hour (2007) by Mike M — 21 Dec 2008
(Don't, whatever you do, pick up the DVD if you're on suicide watch. You won't last an hour.) One awaits the inevitable tipping point - the moment when, as has become customary in this wave of activist docs, where the film switches from cataloguing our woes to a more positive listing of solutions or correctives - and it does eventually come, albeit with perhaps a greater emphasis on what's already been achieved by others than on what we ourselves can constructively achieve to aid the planet.
Simply making people aware of the problems, in this example, is a battle, and an achievement, in its own right.
