Review of The 100 Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared (2013) by Drago? C — 28 Dec 2014
Part Crime Caper, part Forrest Gumpian memoir, The 100 year old man is ridiculous and deadpan-hilarious. It wears its sources on its sleeves and concocts a bizarrely absurd story that rolls around from crazy mix up to weird happenstance.
The characters are just as messed up but likeable and the action is peppered with historical tidbits. Overall, while it is very similar to Forrest Gump not only does this little Swedish gem stand on its own but it is well worth watching again.
