Review of That's What I Am (2011) by Ed B — 20 Jun 2011
While the script could use some work and the direction could be smoother, it's hard to find fault with a film whose message is tolerance and it's story shows the harmful effects of bullying and predjudice.
Add to that some good performances from it's young cast , veterans like Ed Harris and Amy Madigan and even WWE Superstar Randy Orton as an ignorant parent, and you can forgive some of it's short comings.
A nice effort with it's heart in the right place.
