Review of That's My Boy (2012) by Sujit O — 13 Apr 2013
I forgot to make a point of writing something about this movie online. That's My Boy was hilarious, I laughed through the whole thing and it'll probably turn out to be a cult hit like Grandma's Boy.
Great cast, tons of funny lines, and great acting/characterization by Adam Sandler. Someone, apparently, knows how to write comedy, unlike Apatow's regular cast of fools, or Will Ferrell these days.
Who knew Sandler actually still had it? He plays his character so well during the whole film I hardly know it was him. It was so good I could even forgive Andy Samberg.I do admit I'm an old school Sandler fan, and love old SNL, but I think this movie was objectively one of the better of his movies I've seen in a long while.
i. cOULD. nOT.sTOP.lAUGHING.sERIOUS. just based on this one I'm gonna' have to go back and watch that one where he's an Israeli Secret Agent... or not. :/.
