I have a guilty pleasure for certain Sandler comedies (Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison and The Waterboy), which were all early films. Someone needs to tell this great comedian that the emperor is naked now.
His last few movies have been so awful that I wonder who is advising him. There are laughs here but there are not enough and the ones that exist are not strong enough. This character was like an old burn out of any of the aforementioned movie characters.
I wish someone would man up and tell Sandler when he is not funny. Sandler is sadly becoming Eddie Murphy.
