Review of That's My Boy (2012) by Zanearts — 17 Mar 2019
**Just my opinion**.
This is one of my least favourite films of all time. I think it all began with the very hollow opening, depicting PEDOPHILIA in the worst way possible. The son that the teacher and student have is named Han Solo. Wow. I guess at points it is funny, but the majority of the time, it's so painful to watch. The comedy isn't remotely smart, all characters are terrible and the basic recycled atmosphere absolutely tires me. Just how am I supposed to feel emotional at any scenes, when beforehand I literally witnessed a child being born from another child, just longer than 10 years younger than him? Also, they have a cheap attempt at a joke, by depicting a incest relationship .....
Films such as The Hangover are great examples of comedy today. The Hangover, believe it or not, is smart. It actually has more than comedy. It's basically a film about friends learning more about each other, taking time away from their every day live, and what's this film about? Well, to put it simply, it's about some kid having a baby who grows up to become the fiancé of an incest whore.
