Alright Mr. Sandler, I let you off this time, because you gave it at least some effort. But this movie barely gets the 3 stars.
If you have seen any Sandler movie released in the last 13 years, they are all shit. Bar this and Little Nicky.
This wasn't anything amazing, but it did it's job. Time to get some of the shitty parts of the movie off my chest.
1) The handheld camera.
For no actual reason, this movie was shot on a handheld camera even though this doesn't suit any context and the result is unnecessary shaky cam and moving shots.
2) The first 20 minutes.
It literally is an overlong cringe sequence. It's crude and stupid.
Oh, and there is the fact that this should've been released in the 90s. This would've actually been groundbreaking back then and it could've improved the experience for me.
This is a relatively fun movie, even though Adam Sandler's accent can be very annoying at certain times. This movie also drags from time to time and when it drags, it really does drag.
Watch out of boredom and nothing else.
