It is an enormous step up from the last few Happy Madison outings but while it can be funny, it's also incredibly mean spirited, immature and a little too long. I do think that the particularily scathing reviews are mostly fueled with leftover hatred from Jack and Jill.
By regular film standards it's nothing special but it is f*cking hilarious and it's an honest send up to classic Sandler.
