This is a train journey story quite unlike any other... an utterly confusing film, which is perhaps appropriate as the film follows Matthieu (Fernando Rey) who is completely obsessed by Conchita - the world quite literally explodes around him, but he doesn't pay any attention because he is 'in love'.
I didn't notice the thing I should have noticed until quite near the end - if you've seen the film you'll know what I'm talking about, if you haven't I'm not going to tell you.
