Review of That Obscure Object of Desire (1977) by Hamad S — 25 Feb 2009
Luis Bunuel's reputation as a film maker and artist is legendary. This movie, one of my favorites of his, is far to good for any of you 'cynics' to miss. Bunuel perfectly dissects and then interprets the absurd qualities of the human animals courtship process.
Hilariously he draws parallels between romance and militant terrorist organizations! I won't give anything more away,... just watch.
