Review of That Obscure Object of Desire (1977) by Javor B — 13 Sep 2011
For Buñuel, we are no better than scorpions or insects, and that is what he shows us in this film. This film is very far from talking about love. Mathieu is an old-rich-man completely blind by his desire for Conchita, a young-beautiful-girl who is blind by her desire for a wealthy life.
Definitely, worth watching.
