Review of That Awkward Moment (2014) by Jeff V — 22 May 2014
This movie tries way too hard for the 'raunchy' laughs, when really most of the jokes are overplayed. I found myself disliking all of the characters by about 20 minutes into the movie. It's only 94 minutes long, but feels like it's 3 hours long.
I really couldn't wait for it to be over. Zac Efron was great in "Neighbors", but comes up well short of success in this film. Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan are talented actors, but this movie didn't help their resumes.
